An actress, singer and TV host, Bisola Aiyeola, has launched her cosmetic skincare brand called, Brown Girls Magic, as well as a new store.

Presenting the four new products at an event organised by her management, The Temple Company, in Lekki, Lagos, during the week, Aiyeola claimed that she seeks to restore pride to people of colour.

She said, “The products were made with so much love, and produced in South Korea. It was made for every brown skin person of African descent and non-Africans as well. It is called Brown Girls Magic, because there is magic in all of us. I want us all to embrace the magic in us, and be proud of our brown skin.”

Recalling what piqued her interest in that line of business, she said, “In 2018, it struck me that we don’t have enough access to skincare body products that contain sun protector factor. I knew we had to come up with something to fill that void, and make skincare products more accessible.”

Guests at the event include a former First Lady of Lagos State, Abimbola Fashola; the Group Chief Executive Officer of The Temple Company, Idris Olorunnimbe; as well as actresses— Sharon Ooja, Bimbo Ademoye, Adesua Etomi, Omowunmi Dada, Ini Dima-Okojie; and other celebs, such as Banky W and Dorathy Bachor.
