An actor, Adediwura Olanrewaju, who stars in video streaming platform, Showmax’s telenovela, Wura, is set to participate in the Asa Day Festival holding in Canada in October.

This is a product of his exploits at the recently held Ayangalu Festival held in Ile-Ife, Osun State, where he was a judge and speaker.

The upcoming trip is courtesy of the convener of Asa Day in Canada, Joel Oyatoye, aka Baba Asa.

The annual event tagged, ‘Asa Day’,  is organised by ASA Day, Inc. Canada, in conjunction with the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Oyatoye is also sponsoring winners of the Ayangalu Drum Festival recently held in Ile-Ife, Osun State, to the programme in Canada.

Reacting to the development, Adediwura, who plays the role of Olumide, aka Cobra, in Wura, and  was a judge at the Ayangalu Festival competition, thanked Oyatoye for powering the upcoming trip.
