The Group Chief Executive Officer of Zylus, Dr Oluwatosin Olatujoye, has received the African Achievers Award for excellence in business and corporate administration in London, United Kingdom.

A statement from Zylus said Olatujoye bagged the award in recognition of his contribution to the real estate sector through Zylus Homes, the real estate subsidiary of Zylus Group.

“This also serves as a testament to his canny business sense and the ability to bring out the best in people.

“The Africa Achievers Awards was held at the Palace of Westminster, House of Parliament, London, UK, and is an annual event that recognises and celebrates exceptional individuals and organisations across Africa,” the statement read.

This year’s Africa Achievers Awards had the theme “Unlocking Sustainable Trade and Investment Opportunities in Africa – the PPP Approach” and focused on the importance of addressing the challenges in Africa to work towards a prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future in the continent.

Speaking on the award, Olatujoye expressed gratitude to the award organisers for finding him fit out of millions of Africans who were contributing to the development of the communities, countries, and the continent at large.

“Receiving an award for business excellence reflects his tenacity and commitment in the real estate industry, building a sustainable business and leading a team that continues to address the housing deficit in Nigeria,” the statement added.
