A fashion entrepreneur and the founder of BG Wellington, Epere Augustine, has averred that he is embarking on a tour in Europe because the world needs to see more of African designs.

Speaking in an interview with Saturday Beats, he said, ”The reason for the world tour is to connect our African prints to the world. I think the world needs to see more of African designs generally, not just my designs. Hence, we are starting the tour with a fashion week event in Torino, Italy, and we will be using the platform to showcase our products to the world.

“We are looking forward to top brand collaborations, sales, contracts and of course we are going to be showcasing some of our new casual collections. We are always particular about standing out in terms of fabrics, creativity and designs. We pride ourselves as a suit brand with a difference that infuses culture, ethnicity, originality and art to our African prints and design”.

He also spoke on his journey in the fashion industry. He said, “Fashion started as a lifestyle for me during my university days. I always have loved and been a fan of corporate outfits. I get positive feedback from my friends back then and they told me to consider going into it. I just knew when the time was right everything would play out and when it was time, it just happened.”
