The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria says its upcoming conference slated to hold on June 22, 2023, in  Abuja, would be focusing on the role of marketing and ethics in driving sustainable nation-building efforts.

Themed “The Role of Marketing and Ethics in Nation Building,” the event will gather marketing professionals, experts, scholars, and thought leaders from across the country.

According to a statement by the institute, attendees will engage in insightful discussions, share best practices, and explore innovative strategies that can contribute to the overall growth and development of the country.

The President of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, Idorenyen Enang, stated that for Nigeria to attain sustainable development citizens need to imbibe strong ethical leadership.

He added that the country must also harness its greatest asset—the people.

“I believe that our greatest asset as a country is our people. As an institute, we are developing ways to foster conversations around the role of marketing and ethics in building the nation. What makes a great nation, and what makes a great person is ethics.”

According to NIMN, the Group CEO of Prima Garnet Africa, Lolu Akinwunmi, will be leading other keynote speakers at the conference.

The institute urged all marketing professionals, academics, government officials, and stakeholders in the marketing industry to visit its website and register for the conference.
