A gospel artiste, Jerry Blake, aka Jheri Blake, says his dream is to take his music to the international stage.

Blake who is one of the lead vocalists of the group, The Pillaz Music, said, “I intend taking my music to the ends of the earth. I went international in 2013 when I embarked on a tour to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. A few months ago alongside the Pillaz, we were in Ghana on another tour. In some months, I will also be touring another European country, and showcasing my brand of Yoruba gospel rock music.”

Recalling how music started for him, the singer said, “I was the youngest member of my church’s adult choir when I was nine years old. My mother was in the choir before she became a pastor in the same church. I started singing professionally when I started The Pillaz Music with some friends. I was also the youngest in the group. The group is 24 years old now, and we are still together doing exploits. In 2011, I started my solo career.”
