KERO Global Lendas Ltd has announced plans to empower Small and Medium Enterprises, to enable them to cope with the challenge of the high cost of production.

The firm, which recently unveiled its lending, said that it would be playing a crucial role in supporting local businesses and helping them thrive despite the adverse economic climate.

Speaking during the unveiling of its head office in Pakuro, Ogun State, the Managing Director of the firm, Dr Sunday Kerobo, said the challenges facing SMEs could be surmounted through its commitment to fostering direct connections between its customers and the company.

According to him, the firm aims to revolutionise the sphere of lending in Nigeria.

He noted that KERO Global Lendas would be leveraging its technology to create a complete lending infrastructure that would enable lenders to be more efficient and cost-effective.

“We are empowering entrepreneurs to maximise their resources, increase sales, and grow their businesses. We have positioned the company to facilitate loans for Nigerian entrepreneurs that are faster and simpler to help their businesses scale,” he added.

He said KERO Global Lendas was motivated by the importance of access to credit in any country, from empowering SMEs to spurring economic growth.

Kerobo further said the company’s immediate focus was on the Nigerian market, adding that it would be scaling its platform and lending infrastructure across Africa to bridge the gap within the continent’s unbanked and underbanked populations.

Also speaking, the Head of Operation, Mr Lucky Giwa, said, “What makes the company different from other platforms is that it deals with its customers directly.”
