Almond Productions Limited, Producers of Almond finance and wealth report has expanded its viewership strength to Abuja and environs on ASOTV.
In a press release signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the company Ms Faith Ughwode, she said, “For us as a production firm, quality is what we stand for, hence our constant lookout for television stations with strong viewership and qualitative transmission strength to partner with nationwide.
“With our coming on board ASOTV, residents of Abuja and environs will get to see and hear about all the latest happenings in the insurance industry every week as we profile major events, exclusive interviews with critical stakeholders from within and outside the industry. We also delve into pensions, banking, and real estate among others.”
She noted that insurance penetration level was still generally low in Nigeria especially among low –medium income earners who formed the critical mass of the population.
While insurance operators were winning with the corporate market in Nigeria by available products and services, she said the retail market was almost non-existent.
She said, “The retail market can only be developed when people get information on the workings and benefits of insurance. This is why we are taking our programme to ASOTV and environs so that people can visually see and hear what is happening in the insurance industry every week. For operators who want to pursue retail business, our platform will provide their brand the needed visibility through partnership with us.
“With the current state of the economy, people are anxious about their tomorrow and insurers must educate the insuring public on why they need insurance now more than ever before as they go about their daily businesses because the essence of insurance is to remove anxiety knowing that should the unexpected happen in the course of daily hustle and bustle insurance will come to their rescue.”
